ABOUT JASON CHARNEY
Jason Charney creates music and sound installations which address the connections among scientific phenomena, sensory perception, and performative gesture. Recent projects include installations at KANEKO (Omaha, NE), Georgia Southern University, and Shaw Center for the Arts (Baton Rouge, LA), as well as musical collaborations with saxophonist Nick Zoulek (Bowling Green, OH), mezzo-soprano Jennifer Beattie (Philadelphia), and Duo d'Entre-Deux (Montréal/Ohio). Jason holds degrees in music theory and composition from the University of Kansas and Bowling Green State University. He resides in Baltimore, Maryland. More information at www.jasoncharney.com.
