Despite the uncooperative weather, we had yet another successful and productive rehearsal yesterday and I've got the recordings and pictures to prove it. Three recordings are now up on the Audio page. Unfortunately I've just made available the songs that I recorded as MP3's because wav files take way too long to upload.
If you've got a minute, I recommend reading this article by Ben Ratcliff comparing jazz and metal. It's got to be my favorite writing about jazz that I've read in quite some time.
The coming Sunday will be the last rehearsal of this session and I invite any musicians interested in participating in a future session to come to rehearsal. Just shoot me an email.
